This pamphlet on emerging anti-Semitism in Germany from the 1870s onwards was considered one of the best writings on the subject at the time, and Gustav Maier became internationally known as a result. He himself followed his own suggestion that Jews should leave Germany with their property, but was ignored by German Jews.

Ce pamphlet sur l'antisémitisme en Allemagne à partir des années 1870 a été considéré comme l'un des meilleurs écrits sur ce sujet à l'époque, et Gustav Maier est devenu internationalement connu suite à cette publication. Il a lui-même suivi sa propre observation que les Juifs devaient quitter l'Allemagne avec leurs biens,  ignoré par les Juifs allemands.
